easier to process food resulting in easier weight loss. By removing
toxins from your body you'll also see better skin, for me it's mostly
losing the cellulite that makes me so interested in detox.
I read
about Beyoncé losing 20 pounds for her role in Dreamgirls, drinking
only a mix of lemon juice, water,
maple syrup and cayenne pepper.
So
I thought, hey, I can do that.. right? I set a date, mixed the juice,
drank it (it tasted pretty good), and i managed for 2 days. 2 days out
of the ten you're supposed to be on this
. I guess the tabloid at the
dentists didn't have all the answers..
I wrote this method off,
since obviously it wouldn't work for me, then it wouldn't for anyone
else and Beyoncé was a liar.
A month ago, I was at a
housewarming party. One of my good friends from when i was at college
was there and I almost didn't recognize her. It'd been maybe a couple of
years since I'd seen her, and she looked like a completely different
person. She'd lost alot of weight, her acne was all gone, her skin was
glowing and her hair looked healthy and shiny. We got to talking, we had
alot of catching up to do and after alot of coctails and laughter I got

in the book, and I realised there's so much more to it than just
drinking this juice for 10 days and thinking you'll be a supermodel.
What
comes before the detox, during, and after? So I gave it a chance, I
stuck with it for 10 days, I lost 16 pounds during that time, but what
really surprised me is that after this eating healthily just became so
natural. I didn't want to ruin my progress, and I was also repulsed by
what people are really putting into their bodies. Since I finished the
programme, I've lost 3 more pounds for a total of 19! yay! This is a
really good kick start to a healthy life style and I really feel I've
done something good for my body.
